NEW DELHI, 15 Mar. Indian state companies ONGC Videsh (OVL), Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Oil India (OIL) and Bharat PetroResources (BPRL) will be signed with “Rosneft” the agreement on the acquisition of stakes in the fields of the TAAS-Yuryakh and Vankor two billion dollars, wrote on Tuesday the newspaper Financial Express.

For the signing of agreements in new Delhi on Tuesday will visit the head of “Rosneft” Igor Sechin.

One of the deals will apply to buy IOC, OIL and BPRL 30% in the field TAAS-yuriakh in Eastern Siberia. Another – increasing the share of ONGC Videsh in Vankor oil field from 15% to 26%. The amount of the agreements will be about two billion dollars.

“Memoranda of understanding have already been signed. Left to make decisions on final agreements based on the acceptable for both parties. We hope to reach an agreement,” said a government source.

Company Indian Oil Corp and Oil India holding talks with Rosneft about to buy 29% share of the fields developed by the company “TAAS-Yuryakh oil and gas production” — SP “Rosneft” and BP, reported on 18 December, the Agency Reuters citing sources familiar with the situation. Rosneft announced plans to bring in another JV partner that has long-term positive impact on the development of the project.

Rosneft and India’s ONGC in September 2015 in the framework of the Eastern economic forum signed a contract of sale of 15% shares of “Vankorneft” and the shareholders ‘ agreement in respect of enterprise management.
