MOSCOW, March 16. Russia will continue to strike at terrorist group in Syria, said Chairman of the state Duma Sergey Naryshkin.

“Such terrorist organisations as the ISIL (“Islamic state of Iraq and the Levant” – the former name is forbidden in the Russian Federation groups – edit.) “Dzhebhat EN-Nusra” and other terrorist groups recognized as such by the UN Security Council, of the cessation of hostilities completely excluded. According to the Chairman of the state Duma, Russia is making Herculean efforts to restore peace in Syria. “And it is in this context the decision by the Russian President on the withdrawal of part of the armed contingent of VC (from Syria)”, – informed the Minister of state Duma speaker.

“This step, in our vision, should contribute to the intensification of political dialogue between all warring factions, all the political forces of the RAA”, he added.

As noted by Naryshkin, in this regard, Russia welcomes the start of the Geneva talks on the Syrian issue. “And for our part we will contribute to the Syrian people themselves decided about their future”, – said the politician.

According to Naryshkin, speaking about the situation in the middle East and North Africa, he cannot but admit the fact that “such a chaos of political, social, economic life, and the disintegration of state institutions of several countries of the region, of course, was the result of imprudent, harmful policies of Western countries that interfered in the internal Affairs of States in the region”.

Moreover, according to Naryshkin, this intervention was often accompanied by the use of force in violation of international law, the UN Charter.
