The Chairman of the Committee on the state Duma international Affairs Alexei Pushkov commented in his Twitter the explosions which thundered in Brussels on Tuesday morning at the airport and in the subway.
“While Mr Stoltenberg, himself with no memory of fighting with imaginary “Ross. threat” and places the troops in Latvia, under his nose, in Brussels, blow up people,” wrote Pushkov.
Pushkov expressed his condolences to the relatives of the victims in the Belgian capital. “It is time for Europe to understand where the true threat, and join forces with Russia”, — he added.
Official representative of Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova on behalf of the foreign Ministry explained the attacks in Brussels “policy of double standards”.
“Unfortunately, today we come to a very sad end to the policy of “double standards” in this area. You cannot divide terrorists into good and bad,” said Zakharova in an interview with TV channel “Russia 24” (quoted by TASS).
Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev expressed his condolences to Prime Minister of Belgium Charles Michel in connection with the victims of the terrorist attacks in Brussels.
“We strongly condemn this barbaric crime against innocent civilians. The incident underscores the need for coordinated efforts by the international community in combating the threats of terrorism”, — quoted Medvedev’s press service of the government.
Previously press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that the head of state expressed condolences to king Philippe of Belgium in connection with a series of explosions in Brussels. “The President strongly condemned these barbaric crimes that have been committed, sent his condolences to the Belgian people and assured the absolute solidarity of Russians with Belgians in these difficult hours,” he said.
