The increase of tariffs for services of the airports of the Moscow aviation hub will have a significant impact on the finances of S7 airlines, said its co-owner Natalia Fileva.
“We have a lot to lose. In Domodedovo increased by 20%. The passenger cannot pay, it will fall on the airline. Then, we’ll go bankrupt, and all these holes will pay the state pays now after the departure “Transaero”, that is not a passenger, and all will suffer,” said Fileva (quoted by TASS).
She also added that the airline will once again turn to the Federal Antimonopoly service (FAS).
Previously, the newspaper “Vedomosti” with reference to its sources reported about the possible increase in ticket prices due to the increase of tariffs of airports, the incident after the abolition of state regulation of the FAS rates.
“Increasing costs will significantly affect the Economics of airlines. We have repeatedly talked about the negative consequences of deregulation of tariffs and the lack of real competition between airports. As a consequence, this may lead to increased ticket prices”, — said the representative of the S7.
As noted by “Vedomosti” with reference to the representative of the airport Manager and one of the airlines, the airport Domodedovo in March raised the fee for take-off / landing by 15%, aviation safety was 26 per cent, and on March 30 will raise the fee for airport terminal for international lines by 27%, and for internal — just 43%. To Sheremetyevo from 1 April the rate rises on take-off / landing by 12%, for aviation safety — 3% at the terminal by 9%.
Estimated Manager of one of the carriers, as a result of growth of tariffs for medium-haul aircraft with 60-70% maintenance cost flights to Domodedovo will grow approximately on 12 thousand roubles, and in Moscow — on 6 thousand rbl. the increase of almost 20 and 10% respectively.
Earlier it was reported about the possible introduction of a surcharge from the airlines, the proceeds of which can go to infrastructure development of Moscow airports.
The operators of the airports Domodedovo, Vnukovo and Sheremetyevo propose to introduce an infrastructure levy from airlines for a period of five years.
