According to the publication “Dumskaya”, at a rally near the Russian diplomatic mission has gathered “tens of activists of the Patriotic organizations.” As indicated in the message one of the organizers of the rally, former champion of Ukraine in chess Mikhail Golubev, the purpose of the rally was a protest against the sentences of Nadezhda Savchenko.

Since the Russian Consulate General for technical reasons, runs from 21 to 24 March, the rally, during which Golubev demanded to sever diplomatic relations with Russia, “owing to Stalin’s process”, was held in front of an empty building. Finally, the activists pelted the Consulate with eggs.

The publication notes that the walls of the Consulate General are still laying flowers and toys that Odessa residents brought in memory of the victims of accident of the plane of flydubai at the airport in Rostov-on-don on the night of March 19.

The rally on March 23 and was held near Russian Embassy in Kiev. There were about a hundred people, including the head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov. The protesters held flags of Chechnya the times of Dzhokhar Dudayev and demanded Russia to leave the Republic.

On the eve of a Russian court sentenced Savchenko to 22 years of imprisonment on the case of the death of journalists VGTRK in the Donbass in June 2014. In addition, the Ukrainian was fined 30 thousand rubles for illegal border crossing.

Itself Savchenko’s guilt is not admitted and claimed that Ukraine has kidnapped her. According to the lawyer, after the entry into force of the sentence Savchenko intends to resume his hunger-strike.

After the verdict, the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said he was willing to exchange Savchenko on “two Russian military”, which, according to him, were previously detained in Ukraine. Poroshenko said that Putin during the meeting “channel four” allegedly promised “to return Nadiya Savchenko to Ukraine.”

On Wednesday press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that he did not know anything about the agreement between Putin and Poroshenko on the fate Savchenko.
