“The importance of the creation of all necessary conditions for the resumption of flights of Russian aircraft in Egypt and tourist exchanges,” — said in the message.
The largest in the history of Russian and Soviet aviation accident occurred October 31, 2015: Airbus A321 airline “Kogalymavia”, which was flying from Sharm El Sheikh to St Petersburg, crashed in the Sinai. Onboard there were 217 passengers and seven crew members. They all died. The head of FSB Alexander Bortnikov said it was a terrorist attack.
