MOSCOW, 7 Mar. The President of Russia Vladimir Putin and the head of Egypt Abdel Fattah al-Sisi said in a telephone conversation the importance of creating the conditions for the resumption of flights of Russian aircraft in Egypt, the press service of the Kremlin.
“The importance of the creation of all necessary conditions for the resumption of flights of Russian aircraft in Egypt and tourist exchanges,” — said in the message.
The largest in the history of Russian and Soviet aviation accident occurred October 31, 2015: Airbus A321 airline “Kogalymavia”, which was flying from Sharm El Sheikh to St Petersburg, crashed in the Sinai. Onboard there were 217 passengers and seven crew members. They all died. The head of FSB Alexander Bortnikov said it was a terrorist attack. The flights of Russian aircraft in Egypt, as well as the number of tourists from the Russian Federation in Arab Republic was suspended. —0-
