Germany is a potential target of terrorist attacks. This was stated by the head of the German Ministry of justice Heiko Maas, reports Deutsche Welle.
According to the Minister, the people of the country should not expect that international terrorism will bypass the country side. “Absolute security, unfortunately, in a democratic state to ensure no one can,” admitted Maas.
The head of the Ministry of justice also urged not to “panic”. He said that the German authorities tightened security at major railway stations and airports, as well as elevated verification of documents.
“If we completely paralyzing fear means the terrorists have achieved their goal,” stressed Maas, urging not to admit development of such scenario.
