Transport Prosecutor’s office conducted an audit on the fact of delay of salaries to employees of airline “Kogalymavia”, said the official representative of the Prosecutor General Aleksandr Kurennoy.
According to him, during the inspection specialists revealed violations of labour legislation, after which the airline was brought to administrative responsibility under part 1 of article 5.27 of the administrative code (violation of labor legislation and labor protection), and to the General Director of the company had made a representation to eliminate violations of labour legislation. In the court were directed to claims personnel on recovery of wages, moreover, were prosecuted.
“Directed the Prosecutor to the investigative body on 24 March a criminal case under part 2 of article 145-1 criminal code of Russian Federation (full nonpayment over two months of salary by employer)”, — said the representative of the Prosecutor General (quoted by “RIA Novosti”).
The Colonel also noted that thanks to the “measures of prosecutorial response” has already repaid the debt to the airline personnel, for the sum over 30 million rbl. “the Work on the final repayment continues,” he added.
Earlier, in November last year, checking in “Kogalymavia” was held by the experts of the Fes. The audit showed that the company owed its employees money for two months. Then, in November, the representative of the holding TH&C (the airline is included in its composition) Oksana Golovina recognized the fact of presence of debts before employees of the airline, stressing that does not exceed a reasonable framework, developed in connection with the difficult situation on the Russian aviation market. Golovin emphasized that the financial management of the company do not affect flight safety.
Airline “Kogalymavia” belonged to the 31st of October, Airbus A32, carrying out flight from Sharm El Sheikh to St Petersburg, crashed 100 km from the Egyptian city of El-Arish. All aboard 224 people were killed. Later experts have established that onboard the liner there was a terrorist attack.
