According to the Ukrainian edition of “Vesti”, the exit polls from polling stations show that the election of the mayor in Krivoy Rog (Dnepropetrovsk region) won a former activist of the Party of regions Viktor Yanukovych Yury Vilkul. A survey conducted by Research & Brading Group, showed that it was supported by more than 70% of voters.
Vilkul far ahead of the former commander of the volunteer battalion Semyon Semenchenko, who represented the election of a party “Self-help”. The Deputy of Rada, according to the survey, was supported by 11.3% of the voters. The third place was taken by the candidate of DILL, a former curator of a battalion “Krivbass” Nikolay Kolesnik (6.7 per cent).
Semenchenko already said that he does not believe the survey results. According to him, he goes to the second round, where they will triumph over Vilkul. In addition, he said the TV channel “112”, Vilkul used mass busing people to the polls.
The Ministry of internal Affairs of Ukraine are serious violations of the election not recorded.
A native of Krivoy Rog Vilkul head of the city organization of Party of regions since 2005. After coming to power of Viktor Yanukovych he first became the head of Dnipropetrovsk regional administration, then Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine.
In November 2015 Vilkul put forward by the Opposition bloc, was declared the winner on elections of the mayor of Krivoy Rog, having outstripped the candidate from “Samopomich” Yuri Milobog, however, the losing party challenged the election results. As a result, the voting results have been cancelled. Vilkul was again nominated for mayor, and “Self-help” is a native of Krivoy Rog of Milobog pushed the native of Sevastopol Semenchenko.
