MOSCOW, 28 Mar. Uralkali, one of the largest producers of potassium chloride, increased its net profit under RAS in 2015 in 8.7 times, up to 30,283 billion rubles against 3,465 billion rubles for the same period last year, according to the statements of the company.
Revenue of Uralkali in 2015 increased by 1.4 times, amounting to 172,13 billion. Cost of sales increased by 6.3% to 30,972 billion. Gross profit was $ 141,158 billion rubles, having increased by 1.6 times.
Commercial costs decreased by 1.2%, to 23,838 billion, management increased by 25.3% to 8,941 billion. Profit from sales increased 1.8 times — up to 108,378 billion.
Production assets Uralkali include five mines and seven ore-treatment mills situated in the towns of Berezniki and Solikamsk (Perm region) on the territory of the Verkhnekamsk potassium-magnesium salts.
