The Verkhovna Rada has sent in resignation of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Viktor Shokin. As transfers-Ukraine, this decision was supported by 289 deputies of the Parliament.
February 16, Shokina called upon to resign the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko. He explained that during this time the Supervisory authority are unable to secure the trust of society. Later the President submitted to the Verkhovna Rada representation for dismissal.
