“The money provided by the Federal target program, they are included in the Federal budget, and last week the Prime Minister signed a decree which established a list of key projects that will be funded from the budget and funds of the national welfare Fund. And in this resolution are for the development of the second flight zone, our runway-2 and partial reconstruction of the ramp areas, which are adjacent to the new phase of the passenger terminal T-2”, — said Nuzhdin.
He noted that to complete the reconstruction of runway-2 will require about 13 billion rubles, after which it will turn into the taxiway. “A new runway-2 will be located at 287 meters to the South,” said Nuzhdin.
He also added that the capacity of the terminals for holding the world football championship in 2018 will amount to 45 million passengers a year, whereas currently it amounts to 35 million passengers.
