The airline “Transaero”, which is in bankruptcy proceedings, had paid 320 million rubles of debt to the Moscow airport “Vnukovo” from the total debt of 1.5 billion rubles, said the Chairman of the Board of Directors “the International airport “Vnukovo”, the representative of private shareholders of airport Vitaly Vantsev.
“(Redeemed — ed.) about 320 million rubles from 1.5 billion rubles of debt (before “Vnukovo” — ed.) with which they ended their existence,” said Vantsev. “All the money the airport received for November, December, January,” he added.
Vantsev did not name, how many can still get “Vnukovo” funds from Transaero airlines, which ceased operations in October. “It is too early to say. Probably will sell some aircraft. We have current payments that are not within the bankruptcy,” he said.
He noted that the entity continues to create debt to the airport on obligatory payments, including for Parking aircraft.
Transaero airlines are unable to service the debt, constituting together with the leasing obligations of about 250 billion rubles. The airline operator certificate was revoked from October 26.
