Elections to the lower house of Parliament this year will be an order of magnitude more honest than in 2011, due to the appointment of Ella Pamfilova for the post of CEC Chairman, said the leader of “Fair Russia” Sergey Mironov.
MOSCOW, 30 Mar. The leader “Fair Russia” Sergei Mironov hopes that in the September elections to the State Duma the socialist-revolutionaries will take the second place.
According to the leader of the parliamentary faction, he is confident that the elections to the lower house of Parliament this year “will be an order of magnitude more honest, than in 2011” due to the appointment of Ella Pamfilova for the post of CEC Chairperson.
“From the point of view of results I set an ambitious task. I think it is workable. The problem is that after the elections the number of deputies elected by lists and in single-mandate constituencies to take first and second places. If my colleagues and together we will take the first place, I swear I will not” — said Mironov at a roundtable in the state Duma, devoted to youth policy.
“At the next election I shall put a task to become the majority party, we have to win,” he added.
