The Russian authorities will not make any amendments to the budget for 2016 this spring. The Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said, speaking with a report on the activities of the government in the state Duma, reports “Interfax”.
“We were able to avoid adjustments of budget 2016, although early in the year it seemed inevitable. Amendments to the budget during the spring session we add is not planned”, — said Medvedev.
Saturday, 16 April, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said that the Ministry has prepared amendments to the 2016 budget provides for a reduction of its unprotected items by 10%. “Ultimately this will be determined by the government in terms of whether to amend now or later”, — said the Minister.
Last week, “Kommersant” with reference to sources in the government offices, the Cabinet discussed the option of postponing the adjustment of the current budget from may to autumn.
