On Saturday, may 7, during the opening ceremony of the monument to Hetman Ivan Mazepa in Poltava, Ukraine’s President made a speech, in which he spoke about the “new tactic of the enemy” that supports a “fifth column” in Ukraine.
“The enemy realized the futility of a direct attack on our borders, and now has a different tactic — the financing and support of fifth column, destroying our Ukrainian unity, and we will not allow this to be done” — said Petro Poroshenko (quoted by UNN).
According to him, Ukraine learned to defend their land” and created “one of the most powerful and most Patriotic army on the continent.”
