Moscow. May 13. The Ministry of environment together with Rostechnadzor is planned to organize joint technical inspection of all pipelines in Russia, said the head of the Ministry Sergey Donskoy.
“There should be a check across the country. Rostekhnadzor will inspect the technical condition of objects of transportation, pumping and so on. We, accordingly, will check more of and compliance with the legislation on the protection of the environment”,- Donskoy said during the V meeting of the Environmental Council under the Ministry of environment.
“At the time we agreed on (Rostekhnadzor). This topic is last year not so actively developed, I suggest her to “take the stick” and bring to mind. This initiative can bring good results”, – the Minister added.
He noted that next week will be a meeting with Rostechnadzor, which is planned to consider the details associated with the organization check.
According to the Ministry of natural resources, the total length of pipelines in Russia is 62 thousand km of trunk pipelines -149 thousand km.
