The final version of the “strategy of development of a network of high-speed roads of Russia until 2030 envisages that by 2030 Russia will be operated 20 thousand km of motorways and expressways, writes “Kommersant”, which managed to read the document. Currently, the length of such roads is 5 thousand km.

As the newspaper notes, the document must be approved by the government before the end of the year.

Strategy for several years has developed the Ministry of transport and the state company “Avtodor”. For the construction of the highway network will require around 7 trillion rubles, and the Ministry of transport expects that 30-50% of the amount give investors.

The first stage of the strategy includes the completion of the already started roads (route M11, ring road) and beginning construction of a new (alternate M7 Moscow — Kazan). It will last until 2020, will be built only 3.6 thousand km of roads. In the second phase, will be built about 14 thousand km of roads, including the second phase of ring road, the route Ekaterinburg — Velikie Luki, Kazan — Yekaterinburg, Sochi, Novorossiysk, Chelyabinsk — Yekaterinburg, Izhevsk — Perm.

After 2030 can receive the route Krasnoyarsk — Vladivostok, Perm — Tomsk, bypass cheats.
