The Minister of foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu, speaking on the TV channel TGRT Haber, has called Austria’s “capital of radical racism”, reports Reuters. So he responded to the statement of the Chancellor of Austria Christian Core that accession negotiations with Turkey are fiction.
Cavusoglu said that the comments from the Core was “disgusting” and turned them all down.
On the eve of the Kern stated intention to “critically discuss” with the heads of the European Union the feasibility of Turkey joining the EU. As reported by the Austrian TV channel ORF, the negotiations between with Ankara were only “diplomatic fiction”.
According to the Austrian Chancellor, in these negotiations there is no progress, but Turkey has no “real prospects” to join the EU.
