Turkish Ambassador to Russia Umit Yardym believes that Ankara and Moscow in the near future will not be able to conclude an intergovernmental agreement on construction of gas pipeline “Turkish stream”.This opinion he expressed in an interview with TV channel “Russia-24”.
“The talks went on and on but yet we are far from the signing of the intergovernmental agreement,” said Yardym.
He noted that the construction of the pipeline must take into account the interests of other countries. Turkey’s Ambassador to Russia also answered the question about the construction of Nuclear power plants “Acqua”. The cost of the project, according to experts, is about $20 billion, he said.
“This project tops the list of highest priority for Russian-Turkish cooperation”, — said Yardym.
Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov on the eve of the visit of the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that in St. Petersburg will discuss the construction of nuclear power plants and “Turkish stream”, writes “Interfax”.
