Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that the upcoming talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in St. Petersburg will open a new page in relations between the two countries.” He told this in an interview with TASS, excerpts of which were published by the Agency.
“It will be a historic visit, a new beginning. In talks with my friend Vladimir, I believe, will open a new page in bilateral relations. Our countries have much to do together,” he said.
During the interview, the Turkish President also noted Russia’s role in the Syrian settlement. “Without the participation of Russia is impossible to find a solution to the Syrian problem. Only in cooperation with Russia we will be able to resolve the crisis in Syria,” he said.
