Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), which in July had invaded Israeli airspace from Syria, was the Russian, the newspaper Haaretz, citing a senior Israeli official.
According to the interlocutor of the edition, Moscow allegedly acknowledged this fact and explained his mistake in the management apparatus. The source added that the incident was allegedly one of the topics of the talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu.
The newspaper notes that after trespassing UAVs had fired rockets into Israeli air defense, but to shoot him, they could not.
Confirmation of this information from the Russian side didn’t arrive.
