The President of Russia Vladimir Putin thanked President Kahastana Nursultan Nazarbayev for assistance in restoring relations with Turkey, reports “RIA Novosti”.
“You mentioned about the restoration of Russian-Turkish relations. In this regard, I would like to thank you for the effort that you undertook mean your mediation. As you can see, it was a success” – said Putin during a meeting of leaders in Sochi.
“I’m glad that better relations with Turkey and Russia now”, – said Nazarbayev. According to him, Russia is in the position of the state, “without which it is impossible to solve serious international problems.”
Press Secretary of the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Ibrahim Kalin informed Nazarbayev called several “middlemen” engaged in secret diplomacy to resolve the conflict between Moscow and Ankara. According to him, the President of Kazakhstan. the crisis situation showed “great friendship” with Turkey.
