About it RIA Novosti said the Vice-Premier of the Crimean government Ruslan Balbec. Earlier, the Ukrainian side said that in the coming days will give the arbitration case over sovereign rights in the waters around the Crimea.
According to him, the counterclaim may be filed for the robbery, which was carried out on the Peninsula for two decades, when under the “patronage of the Kiev authorities carried out a waste of Crimean land, real estate, collected, cleaned all the collected taxes. Also Balbec said that the requirements put forward by Kiev concerning the sovereign rights in the waters around Crimea, are populist in nature and does not carry any legal consequences.
“It is possible, and there is the court that will make the decision obliging the Russian Federation to comply with Ukrainian requirements. Here only these requirements will be fulfilled only in the fevered imagination of judges and delirium Ukrainian politicians,” said Balbec.
Earlier, the Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin said that in the near future the Kiev authorities will be transferred for consideration of the arbitration case over sovereign rights in the waters around the Crimea. The Minister noted that Ukraine has completed a pre-trial consultations with Russia on this issue and is preparing to refer the matter to arbitration on the basis of the UN Convention on the law of the sea UNCLOS.
