Chinese President XI Jinping at the meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin during the G20 summit in Hangzhou said that China sees the prosperity and development of Russia as his own chance of development.
According to him, China “strongly supports the aspiration of Russia to follow the path of development in accordance with the realities of his country.” The Chinese leader also praised the role of Russia in the world economy.
“Russia plays an important role in facilitating the healthy and stable development of the world economy. I am sure that your participation in the G20 summit will contribute to the positive outcomes of this forum”, — said the head of China (quoted by “RIA Novosti”).
He recalled that Russia and China in June signed a package of agreements, and noted that Moscow and Beijing should strengthen all-round cooperation.
“I hope that our parties will strengthen contacts to implement our agreements. Our country needs more to strengthen all-round cooperation, strengthen mutual political support, support of other countries for the protection of sovereignty,” he said, stressing the need for more effective promotion of the process of conjugation strategies of the EurAsEC and the “silk road”, as well as strategies of Russia and China.
