Mikhail Saakashvili, who on 7 November announced the resignation from the post of head of the Odessa region, said he intends to create the country’s new political force that would seek early parliamentary elections in Ukraine.
“I want to tell you that after I resigned from the post of head of the Odessa regional administration, the last days I talked a lot with my friends. We had their achievements. I want to announce that we will be creating a vast new political power, new strength. Our goal is to change the present so-called political elite, and in fact the drug dealers and the dregs of society who control the Parliament, the Cabinet and all branches of power of Ukraine”, — he said (quoted on the website of the TV channel “112”).
Saakashvili added that he would seek early parliamentary elections in the country. “Our goal is to change the present political elite of the whole country”, — said the politician.
