The Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree on the “assignment interim” Minister of economic development, Deputy Minister Evgeny Elin, reports TASS with reference to the press-Secretary of Prime Minister Natalia Timakova.
Previously, “Interfax” with reference to its sources reported that the acting head of the Ministry appointed Deputy Minister Alexei Vedev, and the corresponding document was allegedly signed before the arrest of the speaker.
The Agency explained that prior to that, the acting Minister of economic development was Elin, but after he went on a business trip and acting head of Department became Vedev. The news Agency did not specify, in this connection, Elin became acting Minister, but we know that at the end of last week the speaker was ill.
Ulyukayev, who served as Minister of economic development 2013, arrested on suspicion in extortion of a bribe, said on the night of 15 November the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR).
