The investigators came with a search warrant to the mayor of Pereslavl-Zalessky

The investigating authorities carry out searches in the city of Pereslavl-Zalessky and in the apartment of the mayor Dmitry Koshurnikova, reported “Interfax” the Deputy of the city Duma Sergei Khabibulin.

“According to my information, this morning, about 6.30, in Pereslavl arrived investigative group from Moscow — 70-80 people. In the morning in the city administration were searched. The work of the staff of the administration is almost paralyzed,” — said the Deputy.

In his words, searches are also in the Committee on management of municipal imushestva where confiscated computers and documents folders, as well as enterprises “Slavros” and OOO “NPO Protect”, which before election as the mayor led Koshurnikov.

“Mayor of the morning no one’s seen on the phone he didn’t answer. His house also is a car of law enforcement bodies, probably, it is present in them [the searches],” said Khabibulin TASS.

The MP suggested that investigative actions may be associated with the corruption scandals that occurred lately. In particular, the eve of the anti-corruption Commission of the city Duma was to consider the request of the Deputy of the Yaroslavl regional Duma, the essence of which is that the mayor of Pereslavl-Zalessky is listed in the German founders of the company, said Venkov.

A law enforcement source confirmed to TASS that representatives of the Investigative Committee of Russia (SKR) hotels in Pereslavl-Zalessky from Moscow, performed in the city’s operational activities.

In the regional Department of the TFR does not comment on operational activities in Pereyaslavl.

Koshurnikov was elected mayor of Pereslavl-Zalessky in July 2012 and previously from 2001 to 2011, she worked in senior positions in “Sinteko”, “NPO Protect” and plant “Slavros”.

Earlier, the acting Governor of the Yaroslavl region Dmitry Mironov at the meeting in the regional government has repeatedly criticized the work of the mayor of Pereyaslavl and his administration and demanded that he work more effectively.
