The Ukrainian authorities unilaterally adopted the decision to conduct missile firings in the airspace of Russia without the coordination with Russia. This is stated in the message published on the website of the Federal air transport Agency.
The Ministry said that Ukraine November 24 issued an aviation notice to the NOTES “on activating the dangerous areas in the airspace” in connection with missile firing to take place on 1 and 2 December 2016.
In this case, “the first danger zone” during the shooting in Kiev installed it on 1 and 2 December from 9.00 to 19.00 GMT. For firings was reserved “airspace over the high seas in the area of responsibility of the Russian Federation”. The second “danger zone” was established on 1 December and 2 December “at all heights”. This was a scheduled “visits” airspace “above the territorial waters of the Russian Federation with maximum depression on the 12 km”.
The Federal air transport Agency said that the publication of these notifications was not consistent nor with the “competent authorities” or the provider of air navigation service of the FSUE “state ATM Corporation”. In the zones, which Ukraine has applied to fly civil and state aircraft.
Such actions “threaten the safety of international air navigation”, added the Agency. The Rosaviation has demanded from Kiev to immediately cancel these notifications.
