According to former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, the secession of Crimea from Ukraine “is bad.” The correspondent reports about it from the press conference.
Yanukovych admitted that he had discussed this issue with Russian President Vladimir Putin. “I had a conversation with Vladimir Putin. It is his position as a person, as a Russian citizen, as a patriot. It is worthy of respect,” said the ex-President.
He said that radicalization in Crimea stems from the fact that during the Maidan “thugs in masks” shot 8 buses with Crimeans. “One bus exploded. Many died… And the decision that was made (by referendum) does not cause any comneni”, — said Yanukovych.
