The murder of the Russian Ambassador in Turkey Andrey Karlov was planned, it was not a personal initiative of the offender. This was stated by interior Minister of Turkey, Suleyman Soylu, reports Anadolu.
He said that the authorities are trying to find all the communications of the suspect in the murder of Charles inside Turkey and beyond. Soylu said that now “clearly defines the relationship of the killer with the terrorist for of Fethullah gülen”.
The interior Minister of Turkey also said that law enforcement agencies have established “very important details” of this case, however, he could not yet disclose them in the interests of the investigation.
According to Soylu, the terrorist attacks that occurred in Turkey after the parliamentary elections in June 2015, and the murder of the Russian Ambassador “are interrelated and form a single chain.” He reiterated that the purpose of the attack on Charles is weakening the overall efforts for peace in the middle East.
“Turkey and Russia will not fall for such traps. The political will demonstrated by Moscow, is evidence of this and it gives us hope. I again Express my condolences to Russia and to the friendly Russian people,” said Soylu.
