Obama received a report about “Russian intervention” in U.S. elections

President Barack Obama received the report, which referred to “the intervention of Russia and other countries” in the presidential election. This was stated by the Director of National intelligence of the country, James clapper, reports The Associated Press.

The report, prepared by the Ministry of homeland security and National intelligence, said that U.S. authorities “are confident” foreign interference in elections, including in Russia hacking email members of the Democratic party. National intelligence believes that “Moscow intervened to help Donald Trump win [in the elections]”.

The Agency reports that Clapper and some other high-ranking U.S. intelligence officials believe that Russia is a serious threat to the U.S. government, military, diplomatic, and commercial transactions.

Some of the information from the report will be published next week. At the same time us senators will be able to obtain information about the “Russian hack”.
