Former Iranian President Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, died Sunday, January 8, at the age of 82 after a heart attack, according to Press TV.
Earlier that day, Reuters reported on his hospitalization in connection with heart problems.
Rafsanjani was President of Iran 1989-1997.
