Venezuela’s Parliament declared President Maduro “left their post”

The opposition majority in Venezuela’s Parliament voted for the resignation of President Nicolas Maduro, reports the newspaper El Nacional. According to Reuters, the signing of the relevant resolution is “symbolic step”.

According to the representatives of the National Assembly of Venezuela, Maduro, after the decision of “abandoned their responsibilities” and “left office”.

For this decision, according to El Nacional, voted 106 MPs. Moreover, the Pro-government bloc MPs withdrew from the hall before the vote.
