Kiev will complement filed with the international court of justice lawsuit against Russia

The Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin said that the Ukrainian side will complement your suit in the international court of justice new Russia violations of human rights. About it reports “Interfax-Ukraine”.

According to him, the facts transmitted will be used by Ukraine in the court “part of our evidence.”

“After all, what we have filed, we are now completely design a whole array of facts we will add to it. Before the hearing we can submit new facts,” he said.

Klimkin added that Ukraine intends to continuously work on expanding the list of such facts. He stressed that this work is aimed at strengthening sanctions against Russia. Ukraine also intends to show that human rights violations continue.

The Ukrainian foreign Ministry has filed a lawsuit against Russia in the international court of justice in the Hague on January 16. The lawsuit accused Russia of violating the UN Convention on combating financing of terrorism and the Convention on the elimination of all forms of racial discrimination. In addition, Kiev said that Moscow “illegally” confiscated “the property of the Ukrainian Ukrainian field”, and captured “Ukrainian platform”, prevented fishing, caused “environmental damage” after accession of the Crimea to Russia.

On 16 January it was also reported that Crimea has prepared a draft resolution to the UN about human rights violations, when the Peninsula was part of Ukraine.
