In the Kremlin denied the statement of the former Deputy about the position of Surkov in the Crimea


The assistant of Vladimir Putin, Vladislav Surkov, was not against the annexation of Crimea to Russia. The journalists said the press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov, reports .

Earlier, the former Deputy of the state Duma from party of the Communist Denis Boronenkov in an interview to Ukrainian TV channel “Gromadske” said Surkov spoke out against joining the Peninsula to Russia. To a journalist’s question why the assistant to the President was against it, Boronenkov said, “Because he [Surkov] is a smart man.”

According to Boronenkov, the decision on the accession of Crimea took “one person”, and others, including “his entourage”, was against.
