A us Senator has proposed naming a street in Washington in honor Nemtsov

U.S. Senator Marco Rubio introduced a bill to rename the street in front of the Russian Embassy in Washington in honor of the Russian politician Boris Nemtsov. This is stated in the statement on the website of the Senator.

“Two years ago, Boris Nemtsov was killed on a bridge in Moscow in the field of view of the Kremlin, and no one was brought to justice”, — reads the statement of the Senator.

In his opinion, street Nemtsov will remind that “the voices of dissidents continue to sound and the defenders of freedom will not be silenced”.

The Senator also promised that he “will continue to work to ensure that those responsible for the murder [of Boris Nemtsov], was brought to justice”.

One of the instigators of the murder, according to investigators, is a former officer of the battalion “North” interior Ministry troops of Ruslan muhudinov. The consequence considers that he and “other unidentified persons” at the end of September 2014 invited artists 15 million roubles for murder of the politician. Currently muhudinov is wanted.
