Moscow. 28 Feb. Moscow Department of Rospotrebnadzor has fined on 100 thousand rubles dispatching service Uber for misleading passengers, the press service of the Ministry.
According to Rospotrebnadzor, the dispatch service will accept applications of consumers for the provision of transportation services and creates a database of applications available to drivers – “partners” of the company. “Thus, society has caused consumer confusion about the quality and safety of transportation services”, – said the Agency.
“To the consumer is not acquainted with information about the license and undergo medical examination of taxi drivers, as well as about consumer properties of services for the carriage of the contractor”, – stated in the message.
The customer ordering a taxi receives no information about the executor of services of transportation, in connection with which he had the impression that the service he renders to the company Uber, as consumers turned to Uber. After the trip driver information in the receipt is also missing, said the Agency.
