In Tbilisi urged not to take literally the words of the refugee camps

The head of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Austria Sebastian Kurz is not meant something specific when he talked about the possibility of creating Georgia centers for receiving refugees. This was stated by Georgian Ambassador to Austria Konstantin zaldastanishvili, reports “Georgia. Online”.

“I had communication with the foreign policy adviser of Mr. Kurtz. We received clarification that this does not mean anything specific, Mr. Kurtz gave Georgia as an example”, explained zaldastanishvili.

According to him, the statement of the Austrian diplomat took too literally, while his main idea was that the existing patterns of movement of migrants to European countries, including Mediterranean route must be blocked.

Earlier, zaldastanishvili said that the issue of establishing refugee camps on the territory of Georgia was not discussed with the Georgian side and it’s hard to say what exactly had in mind foreign Minister of Austria Sebastian Kurz, to mention the fact that the reception centres migrants to Europe can be opened in Georgia, Egypt or in the Balkans.
