Part of the Democrats in the house of representatives Committee on intelligence declared that can refuse participation in the investigation about the alleged Russian interference in American elections, reports The New York Times.
As explained by the Democrats the publication, they will be forced to withdraw from proceedings, if it considers it biased.
“I’m not going to participate in the performance… If the investigation is not legitimate and careful, then why should the party be a part of this?”, — told the Democrat from the state of California Jacqueline Speer.
On 8 March, the Committee set the date of the first hearing in the case of Russia’s influence on the U.S. presidential election. It will be held on 20 March.
