Ex-Minister of economic development Alexei Ulyukayev gave the request for remuneration of the head of “Rosneft” Igor Sechin, President of VTB Andrey Kostin, reports “Rain” with reference to two friends of the speaker.
Kostin gave “Rain” through a friend that this is not so. In a press-service VTB to the official request is not answered.
In November last year, the “Rosbalt” wrote that the speaker demanded money from the management of “Rosneft” not directly, but through the President of the “big banks”, which was in a confidential relationship with the Minister and with the head of “Rosneft”. As claimed by a source in law enforcement bodies, the speaker talks at a time when he had a conversation with the head of the Bank, has already been committed. The name of the head credit institution was not called.
The speaker was arrested on the night of 15 November 2016. The TFR then said that the Minister was detained when receiving a bribe of $2 million, which he solicited for the issuance of economic development is a positive conclusion, allowing Rosneft to buy out state-owned package of shares of “Bashneft”.
