Former adviser to trump has admitted taking money from Russian companies


A former adviser to the President of the United States Donald trump on national security, Michael Flynn in his initial Declaration of concealed payments received in 2015 from Russian companies, in particular from RT, “Kaspersky Lab” and airlines “Volga-Dnepr”. It is reported by The Washington Post, citing White house published documents.

In particular, the White house released two of the Declaration. One of them signed by Flynn on February 11 before the resignation, the second on March 31. The second former adviser to the President indicated that he received fees for speaking at events organized by the Russian telekanalam RT, American subsidiary company “Kaspersky Lab” and the American company working with cargo airline “Volga-Dnepr”.

How many got Flynn for the cooperation with these companies, the Declaration was not mentioned, but these revenues were listed in the section “sources of income in excess of $5 thousand a year.”

In an earlier report Flynn indicated that he had received money for performances, but did not name specific companies.

In mid-March, Bloomberg, citing documents published by congressional Democrats, wrote that Flynn got in 2015, a total of over $56 thousand from companies related to Russia. Later, “Kaspersky Lab” has confirmed what we paid Flynn. The company said that a subsidiary of “Kaspersky Lab” has paid the fee for the Flynn speech at a cybersecurity forum in Washington in 2015.

Flynn resigned just 24 days after his appointment to the post amid political scandal. It erupted after it became known that he hid his talks with Russia’s Ambassador to the U.S. Sergei Kislyak.
