Moscow. May 1. The Rosselkhoznadzor has suspended deliveries of meat and meat products from 17 companies in Brazil, according to the materials of the service.
This decision was made at the request of the Secretariat for the protection of plants and animals of the Ministry of agriculture of Brazil. The Secretariat informed the Rosselkhoznadzor that excluded these companies from the list of exporters to Russia.
Delivery, in particular, stopped with such companies as Arantes Alimentos, of the Marfrig Global Foods, BRF S. A., Libra Terminais S. A., JBS S/A, Minerva S/A, Seara Alimentos and others. They were engaged in exports to Russia of pork, beef and poultry.
The import of meat will be limited “to ascertain the reasons for the exclusion of these enterprises from the list of suppliers,” says the Rosselkhoznadzor.
