MOSCOW, June 23. /TASS/. The Federal Antimonopoly service (FAS) of Russia has recognized, “Galaxi Rus” that controls the Gett Taxi aggregator in Russia, the infringer of the advertising legislation. In particular, the company has spread misleading information about the price of advertised services, the report said the FAS.
We are talking about is using the phrase “Gett Taxi from 50 rubles.” Controversial videos were aired on TV channels STS, STS Love, “Home”, “Che”, NTV, TNT, ТНТ4, “Match TV”, TV-3 and “Friday”. As pointed out by the service, this price applies only to the supply of machines and directly to the passenger. In the future is charging for travel time or mileage in connection with the minimum price increasing by almost 20%.
“Service for the carriage of passengers and their Luggage requires a movement from one place to another. According to information on the website of the aggregator, 50 rubles will cost only feeding the machine, and landing her passengers, – said the Deputy head of Moscow OFAS, Irina Gudkova. – This itself is the transportation service is not provided. By results of check FAS has recognized the aggregator has violated paragraph 4 of part 3 of article 5 of the Law on advertising. For such violation, the company faces a fine in the amount from 100 thousand to 500 thousand rubles.
