“The reason Mercedes-Benz is a possible insufficient tightening torque of bolt coupling the steering shaft. This defect may cause greater wear of teeth u-joint at high loads”, – stated in the message.
On these vehicles will check a bolted connection at the universal joint steering mechanism and, if necessary, replace it.
All repairs will be performed at no charge to owners.
