YEKATERINBURG, July 17. /TASS/. State Duma Deputy, former Prosecutor of the Crimea Natalia Polonskaya stated that the Prosecutor General’s office organized a pre-investigation check of materials of the Russian branch of Transparency International that she had requested to check for libel and an invasion of her privacy.
“[The statement] was made by the state office of public Prosecutor for consideration and organized a test. Currently I know these materials was in the order of articles 144-146 of the criminal procedure code and conducted preliminary examination. Result yet, I know that the review period from 10 days to months,” Poklonskaya told journalists on Monday.
Earlier it was reported that the Deputy asked the leaders of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation, the Prosecutor General and the FSB to check for libel and invasion of privacy the materials of the Russian branch of Transparency International.
In Transparency International said that Poklonski is not reported in his income Declaration alleged in her apartment in Donetsk. The Deputy denied the allegations.
