MOSCOW, August 31. /TASS/. The Board of Directors of Rosneft has approved 11 candidates to the new composition. In addition to the existing nine-member collegial body, the list includes Minister of energy of Russia Alexander Novak and former German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder, according to the materials of the company.
A new Board of Directors will be elected at the extraordinary meeting of shareholders “Rosneft” which will be held on 29 September in St. Petersburg. Earlier, the head of “Rosneft” Igor Sechin reported that proposed to expand the number of Council members from nine to 11, to it including can return Novak.
