ASTANA, 8 September. /TASS/. Russia intends to use the experience of the exhibition “EXPO-2017” in Astana in case of approval of its application for “EXPO-2025” in Yekaterinburg. On Friday Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich during the national day of Russia at the exhibition “EXPO-2017” in Astana.
“We will use the experience of holding the exhibition in Astana. I during today’s visit drew a lot of ideas and Kazakh friends, and in the pavilions of different countries. A lot of really interesting”, – said Dvorkovich.
He recalled that Russia has applied to host the world universal exhibition “EXPO-2025” in Yekaterinburg. “We believe that in Ekaterinburg and Russia as a whole has strengths that will allow us to be leaders. Ekaterinburg is one of the centers of Eurasia, crossroads of important trade, investment routes, a major centre of industry, with great cultural traditions and interesting for millions of people,” – said Deputy Prime Minister, noting that Yekaterinburg has a chance for the successful conduct of the bidding.
