Sberbank denied reports circulated in social networks information about changing debit card service without notice to customer, explaining that in the mobile application cards are displayed as overdraft, which is necessary for correct application of payments and transfers. About TASS reported the press service of the savings Bank in response to the request of the Agency.
“Any changes in the terms of service of cards was not made. No credit debit card impossible, although it may appear in SBOL (“Sberbank Online” – approx. TASS) as “overdraft”. In mobile application SBOL card appear as overdraft, which is necessary for correct application of payments and transfers. The information disseminated on the Internet is untrue,” – said the press service of the credit institution.
Sberbank also added that “perhaps some users only now noticed that in the mobile application “Sberbank Online” part of debit cards always show up as a overdraft”.
