The former head of Dagestan Ramazan Abdulatipov believes that the successful candidate was appointed acting head of the region Deputy speaker of the state Duma, the Chairman of the faction “United Russia” Vladimir Vasilyev. About this Abdulatipov said Tuesday in an interview with radio station “Moscow speaking”.
“This is one of the reasonable, one of the courageous, one of the wise statesmen of Russia. It’s a good candidate,” he said.
The former head of Dagestan believes that Vasiliev will cope with their responsibilities and wished him “to understand the Dagestan Republic”.
“Most importantly, if he will rely on the team which pulled out of Dagestan out of a deep crisis, and will continue this work, he will be comfortable and easy. The talk will be about “why not local?”, “why three million Dagestan did not find a man?” – such questions will be thousands of times ask. But I think Vladimir abdualievich by next September, will answer with their job, their behavior on all these issues”, – said Abdulatipov.
On Tuesday the President of Russia Vladimir Putin has accepted the resignation of Ramazan Abdulatipov, who led Dagestan since 2013, and appointed acting head of the region Vasilyev.
